It happens daily. A Branson visitor is “led” to a sub par show or attraction by the “booth” person.
Why does this happen? The booth person’s job is to get you on a tour for the company. Usually, show tickets or attraction passes are used to entice you to take that tour.
If a booth person can get you to take a “cheaper” ticket, they put more money in their pocket.
Some, not all, will do whatever they can do to get you to accept the cheaper ticket. Allegedly, visitors are told that shows are sold out, or on vacation, or the booth person just pushes the secondary shows harder.
When they are successful, the company gets a tour – the booth person makes more money – and you are stuck seeing a secondary show or attraction.
